Practical Details OF POWER-2008 @DIVINE YOUTH PROGRAME
This is a six day residential retreat. The program will begin on 27 July 2008, Sunday at 10 am and should end at 1 pm of 1 August 2008, Friday.So please do come in before early morning of 27 July. You would need to get your identity cards, your accommodation, week’s kit and settle in (and your breakfast!).

The Youth Conference will be held in the Vincent’s Hall. The Couples Retreat will be held in the English Hall. Both these halls are in the English campus.

Accomodation for youth and elders will be separate. Break timings will also be slightly different. Retreatants would stay in simple but clean and spacious and comfortable dormitories. You will only get to be in these dorms at night as the entire day you are gonna be “on the road.” We would provide the bed and mattress, the buckets and mugs. You would need to bring your own bedsheets, pillow cases, sleeping bags, umbrella, towel, soap and other toiletries.

Every building has a chapel where one can reflect and pray during your free moments.

During this week alone there are two options for Cuisine – the Indian Cuisine and the Continental Cuisine. The Indian cuisine would be the typical Indian food – a bit spicy but healthy and carefully cooked by our volunteers. The continental cuisine would be non spicy and a more non-vegetarian spread for those whose stomachs are very weak! For those opting for the Indian cuisine – total charges for the week, collected as registration fees, would come to Rs. 300. For those opting for the Continental cuisine – total charges for the week, collected as registration fees, would come to Rs. 1000.

It might rain as it often does in every season in Kerala. So bring an umbrella/ raincoat, water proof footwear! You will see rain, sun and rainbow!
